As a musician/publicist/songwriter/poet/journalist/concert promoter/retail record store owner/label head, I've worn many hats in the music business over the years. As a music publicist I have worked projects for DL Media (1987-2009) and from my own Rolling Thunder PR (2008-2011). As frontline and team publicist I have planned, organized, and worked PR campaigns for new and catalog releases, live events, festivals, conferences, career PR guidance and industry oriented projects. I've been lucky to work on over 100 Grammy nominated and/or winning projects. In addition to working with A-list, legendary jazz and world music artists such as Dave Holland, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Charles Lloyd, Milton Nascimento, Dave Brubeck, Marian McPartland, McCoy Tyner, Roy Haynes, et al, I have also been front-line publicist for some of the greatest improvising musicians of the past two decades: Joe Lovano, Greg Osby, Jason Moran, Bill Charlap, Ravi Coltrane, Kurt Elling, David Murray and many, many others. I've worked projects for such non-jazz artists as Willie Nelson, Derek Trucks, Bruce Hornsby, JD Souther, ARU, Jazz Is Dead and many others.
